What are Priorities?
Cambridge – something that is very important and must be dealt with before other things
In a study that was conducted across multiple countries the top 3 priorities of women were their:
1. Children
2. Spouse
3. Self
When we look in the Bible, there is no greater reference than that of the virtuous wife in Proverbs 31. In the last verse of that chapter, the Bible says that “The heart of her husband trusts in her without reserve!”
In the context of Africa, women are guardians of their children’s welfare and household managers. They provide food, nutrition, water, health, and education to an extent greater than elsewhere in the developing world. And yet at the same time for many they are also working full time jobs.
Therefore, many young wives are not coping these days, because of the many different struggles they face.
